Privacy Notice — Dispatch Her Way

This Privacy Notice explains how Dispatch HER Way ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit our website, create a student account, or purchase the Dispatch Her Way™ course.

1. Who we are (data controller)

Dispatch HER Way is the data controller for personal data collected through the Service. You can reach us at dispatchherway@outlook.com.

2. What data we collect

Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
Profile data: any information you add to your student profile.
Course data: lessons completed, progress, certificate issuance.
Support data: messages, screenshots, or details you share when contacting us.
Usage & device data: log data, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed.

Payment card details are collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and are not stored by us.

3. Why we use it

To create and manage your account (legal basis: performance of a contract).
To deliver the course, track progress, and issue your certificate (contract).
To provide customer support (contract; legitimate interests).
To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud or abuse (legitimate interests; legal obligation).
To send transactional emails (e.g., receipts, password resets) (contract).
To send marketing emails, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (consent).
To improve the course and Service based on aggregate usage (legitimate interests).
To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).

4. Who we share data with

Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, billing, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds. Paddle is a separate data controller for the payment data it processes. See paddle.com/legal/privacy.
Hosting & infrastructure providers — including Lovable Cloud and Supabase, who host the Service and the database that stores your account and progress data.
Email service providers — to send transactional and (with consent) marketing emails.
Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit advisers, where reasonably needed.
Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process personal data outside the country where you are based. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and course-progress data for as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, we keep limited records (e.g., purchase history, refund decisions) for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, or tax obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
restrict or object to certain processing;
request a portable copy of your data;
withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data. No system is ever 100% secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We may also use limited analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this Notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was most recently changed.
